1. Your link, and what you earn
We give you a link with a code of your own. An owner who signs up through it, or who gives your code when they sign up, is counted as yours.
You earn 40% of each payment that owner makes to us for their first 12 months, counted from their first payment. Your share is worked out on what they pay before tax. If we agreed a different share or a different number of months with you in writing, that is what applies.
An owner counts for one partner only: the one whose link or code they used when they signed up. An owner who was referred by another member, or who already had an account, is not counted. Your own homes, and accounts you open or pay for yourself, earn nothing.
2. What your audience gets
Unless we agree otherwise, an owner who joins through you gets 25% off their first six months. It is applied for them at checkout.
3. When and how you are paid
- Your share is counted when an owner's payment clears.
- A payment that is refunded, reversed or disputed earns nothing. If we had already counted a share for it, we take it back, including from a later payout.
- We pay once a month, in US dollars, when $25 or more is owed, by the method we agree with you. Any fee your own bank or payment service charges to receive it is yours.
- A private page shows how many owners have joined through you, how many are paying, what you have earned and what you have been paid. To protect owners, it never shows who they are.
- You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.
4. How you recommend us
- Say that you earn from your link wherever you share it, as the advertising rules where you and your audience live require.
- Describe the product as it is. It shows an owner their own figures and promises no financial result, so please promise none on its behalf.
- Do not bid on "STR IQ Lab" or close spellings of it in search ads, and do not send your link in bulk email or messages to people who did not ask to hear from you.
- You may use our name and logo to recommend the product. Please do not present yourself as STR IQ Lab or as speaking for it.
5. Fair dealing
You are free to give your own opinion of the product, good or bad. While you are a partner, neither of us will make false or misleading statements about the other.
6. What this is and is not
You are independent of us. Nothing here makes you our employee, agent or business partner in the legal sense, and neither of us can make promises on the other's behalf.
7. Ending it
Either of us can end the partnership at any time by email. When it ends, your link stops working and no further share is earned. What you had earned up to that day is paid at the next monthly payout, whatever the amount. If it ended because these terms were broken in a way that harmed owners or us, such as misleading claims or bulk unsolicited email, shares earned through that conduct are not paid.
8. Limits
We provide the partner program as it is and may change or close it. To the extent the law allows, the most either of us owes the other in connection with these terms is the amount of the shares earned and not yet paid.
9. Changes, and the law that applies
If we change these terms we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies, and you can end the partnership if you do not agree. For owners who had already joined through you, the share and the 12 months do not change. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
